Ideally Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
St Augustine’s Surgery is a friendly, well organised, teaching practice with 20,000 patients. We have 5 partners, 13 salaried GPs, 4 GP trainees, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and an excellent nursing and administrative team. We have pharmacists, first contacts physios and paramedics within our PCN (Keynsham).
We are based in Block C of The Chocolate Factory, Keynsham in a large, purpose-built surgery adjacent to a local café, care home and sporting facilities. We also have sites in Saltford and in St Clements road, Keynsham which are cross covered by all staff.
We are a committed and supportive practice and positively encourage development of additional skills and personal development. We strive to maintain a good work life balance, by offering a variety of work including teaching, training, triage sessions and nursing home ward rounds. We have capped our 15minute appointments in line with BMA recommendations. We have a daily ‘team huddle’ over coffee and offer free lunch daily.
• Traditional doctor – patient relationship. Continuity of care is positively encouraged with fair share of admin.
• Well organised multidisciplinary team with Early Home Visiting service, prescription and medication team and workflow/admin support to help minimise workload.
• Well-being practice with full complement of allied health professionals to support delivery of care to patients.
• Easy commute from Bath, Bristol and surrounding areas
Do talk to our current salaried GP’s about how they find working with us.
Please contact our Rota Co-ordinator, Stacey Poole, staceypoole@nhs.net for further information or to arrange to look around.
Start date: 19th October.
We look forward to hearing from you.
