We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Dispensary Counter Assistant to join our village GP practice.

This is a busy, patient-facing, front of house position that would suit a cheerful multi-tasker with good interpersonal skills.

Tasks include:

• being a friendly, first point of contact for patients visiting the dispensary
• handing out medications
• processing repeat prescription requests
• answering patient queries
• liaising with other members of the dispensary and surgery team
• counting and filing prescriptions
• assisting with stock control
• and more…

Previous experience of working in a GP Dispensary or Community Pharmacy is not essential, but customer service experience would be beneficial to this role.

Full training is available for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to providing excellent care and service to our patient population.

Hours for this role will be part-time across Monday to Friday – specific hours can be negotiated. We offer a competitive salary.

Jubilee Field Surgery is situated in the village of Yatton Keynell near Chippenham.
